Steps, counted automatically

daybook records your steps through HealthKit without needing to be open. Your data is used only to show your step count inside the app.

Places, remembered

With your permission, daybook quietly records the places you visit and shows them on a map on each day's page. The information is used only for that display and never leaves your device.

Photo and journal

See the photo of the day, pick today's shot, and write your journal next to it — then share it to Instagram if you like.

Questions & answers

How do I sync Google Calendar?

Add your Google account in the iPhone Settings app (Calendar → Accounts → Add Account). daybook then shows those calendars alongside any others on your phone. Outlook and other accounts work the same way.

Does daybook track my location?

Only if you allow it. Visited places are recorded to show on the map on each day's page, are stored on your device and are not used for anything else.

How is the step count measured?

Through HealthKit on your iPhone. Allow daybook to read step data on first launch; it is used only to display your steps in the app.

What is paid?

daybook is free to use. Custom design themes — using your own photos as the background — are a paid feature available as daybook Premium.
